The Business Development Manager is a key member of the Sales Leadership Team. The primary duty is to build the new customer acquisition strategic plan and work with other team members to execute the plan to meet company expansion goals. The position works across the designated business segment to deliver the mix, volume and financial goals of the company. |
| Duties: | - Leads the Customer Acquisition process for company expansion initiatives. They develop the strategy, tactics, financial model, and execution plan for the company.
- Responsible for selling new customer business, either through direct interaction with large targeted accounts or facilitates acquisition through other territory assigned sales representatives. Responsible for Case and Pound Volume, Product Mix, Revenue, and Margin Targets.
- Ensures delivery of the acquisition plan through monitoring and reporting of key measures and timelines including volume, product mix, revenue, and margin targets.
- Collaborates with Sales Strategy to develop products and services necessary to drive growth and channel expansion.
