HEALTH AND WELLNESS BENEFITS - Medical Insurance: Gold'n Plump offers a choice of two excellent medical plans to employees and their family members. Employees receive pharmacy benefits if enrolled in one of the two available plans
- Preventative Dental Insurance included if you are enrolled in the Medical Insurance. Additional coverage is available for purchase by interested and eligible employees.
- Flexible Spending Accounts: Use of these accounts allows you to use pretax dollars for eligible healthcare and dependent care expenses
- Vision Plan; available for purchase by eligible employees
- Employee Assistance Program: Employees and their family members have access to confidential assessment and referral services regarding personal concerns such as family relationships, financial or legal issues or alcohol or durg dependency.
| TIME OFF and WORK- LIFE BALANCE BENEFITS Paid Time Off benefits: This self-managed program combines traditional holidays, vacation, and sick time into one account allowing the employee to plan their absences and manage their time away from work. Paid Holidays Gold'n Plump recognizes six holidays annually: New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas FMLA (including maternity and parental leave): Gold'n Plump Poultry provides time off for employees to care for the serious health condition of a family member or to welcome the birth or adoption of a child. Additionally, family members of military personnel are provided time off. Information regarding eligibility and qualifying circumsatnces are covered in detail in our Leave of Absence policy. Disability Insurance: Gold'n Plump Poultry provides a disability benefit in the event of illness or injury to regular full-time employees who have met the eligibility requirements Funeral Leave: In the event of a death in the family, Gold'n Plump Poultry provides paid time off.
